“I have been a staunch advocate of mandatory mediation prior to the acceptance of any Summons, Writ or Application or at least prior to the expensive and time consuming interrogatory and discovery stages that precede the trial. There needs to be an opportunity for the parties to find resolution in properly processed mediation prior to the massive costs of litigation commencing. Naturally urgent and injunctive matter should proceed to hearing without a mediation process.” Alan Wein
